Professional Development for Teachers

ASN provides a range of affordable professional development workshops for teachers at various locations, including the following:

Programs for kids
  • Science PD workshops for specific grades 1-9 science curriculum units, led by a volunteer presenter team of an experienced teacher and a scientist/engineer - see below for open registrations
  • “Science 101” Multi-topic, multi-grade level "Science 101" at your own school for teachers in grades 1 - 6.
  • Annual Science Symposium for Division II and III teachers, held each October in Calgary
